Inside Sales Executive
WHY WE NEED YOU:
WAZER has created the world’s first desktop waterjet - democratizing manufacturing and bringing professional-grade fabrication to every workshop. Working at an early stage startup, you will have the opportunity to be the face of WAZER to our growing, worldwide customer base. As an Inside Sales Executive, you will play a significant role in shaping our Inside Sales program, and will have potential for growth as we expand our team.
YOUR DAILY ROLE:
You’ll work with the Sales Strategist and other Sales Executives to build customer relationships and close sales.
You’ll become an expert on WAZER’s capabilities and possible uses.
You’ll correspond with inbound sales leads by email, phone and in-person. You will be responsible for ensuring that all emails and phone calls are returned in a timely manner.
You’ll manage proactive outreach to potential WAZER customers, by both identifying possible user groups and managing outreach to them.
You’ll proactively collect and log information about our customers to support a growing data metrics program.
You’ll use WAZER hands on to make samples for potential customers.
- You will provide post sales (non technical) payment and shipping support.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a great verbal and written communicator.
You are excited to learn about WAZER, and can share that enthusiasm with our customers.
You have worked in inside sales and are comfortable working in a professional office environment in close proximity to our executive team.
You have sold technology products before.
You are comfortable using Excel to build charts and reports.
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Written and spoken proficiency in a second language.
You have sold digital manufacturing equipment, especially in a B2B setting.
You have experience working with a CRM tool
You have experience working at a startup
You have used digital fabrication equipment for work or for a hobby
You are a maker
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role will be based out of our Brooklyn Navy Yard HQ.
Occasional travel and work outside of normal business hours may be required.
Compensation includes salary, equity, company-wide bonuses, paid time off and health benefits. The role is not commission based.
LOCATION & ENVIRONMENT:
We are located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in NYC, where you’ll be working in an environment that is simultaneously our office, ideation studio, research lab, workshop, and final product assembly center, all under one roof. This allows us to collaborate and learn each other’s area of expertise, providing better solutions to our customers.
Our facility becomes a playground in the off hours. You are encouraged to design, make, and work on whatever personal projects you may have at the time. You will see electric vehicles, race car parts, plants, and art pieces around the office. Who knows what inspiration we use for the next problem we need to solve at WAZER!
