Door Switch Magnet Adjustment

If the Wazer Displays a “Close Door” error despite the door being closed, the door window magnet likely needs to be adjusted. The Door Safety switch is triggered by a magnet that is hidden the rubber gasket along the lower edge of the door window.  Sometime over normal use or if the area gets bumped the magnet can shift slightly and a no longer trip the switch.

Tools Required

  • ≥6mm hex key

Procedure

1.    Locate the magnets in the front rubber trim located on the bottom lip of the front of the door window.  The magnets are located near the end of the rubber piece on either side.

2.  Stick the end of the Hex key to the magnet on the right side and use it to pull the magnet out towards the end of the rubber seal.  The magnet should sit ~5mm from the end of the trim piece.

NOTICE:

If adjusting the right side magnet is necessary, adjusting the left side magnet will most likely also be necessary. Please continue with the Troubleshooting below.

3. Stick the end of the Hex key to the magnet on the left side and use it to pull the magnet out towards the end of the rubber seal. You may need to use your fingers to pinch the gasket to get the magnet to move. The magnet should sit ~5mm from the end of the trim piece.

4. Run a HP Valve output check to make sure you can hear the valve click open , see low pressure water exiting the nozzle for 7 seconds, and then click shut.

5. If the magnet is still not in the correct position, you may need to push the magnet further inside of the trim piece. Continue adjusting the magnet until it triggers the switch when the door is closed.

If you are unable to hear the HP Valve click after adjusting or cannot get the switch to detect the magnet, please reach out to Support.
